Ohio Top
Hands 2000 |
The Ohio Top
Hands Rodeo Drill Team was rounded up in 1998 by Ginger Ryals, the
team captain and choreographer. This team has performed for
PRCA, IPRA and high school rodeos, live orchestras, and some of
the largest horse expositions in the world. The team this
year has performed for The Can-Am Equine Emporium in Truro, Nova
Scotia; performed for The Buckeye Stampede PRCA Rodeo in Dover,
Ohio; won "Best Mounted Unit" in the Kentucky Derby Festival
Pegasus Parade, and just now finished riding for The Dayton Horse
Show at the Montgomery Fairgrounds in Dayton, Ohio, the 94th
running of a benefit charity horse show.
The Ohio Top Hands are looking for a few good riders to add to the
team for the 2009 tour year. If you have a good, western-going
horse and transportation to and from practices at The Greene
County Fairgrounds in Xenia, Ohio, give us a call or send an email
to the Captain, Ginger Ryals, at

The Ohio Top
Hands owe a debt of gratitude to their sponsors, for their
assistance and faith and encouragement. The Ginger
Horse, The Peter
Stone Company, Rod's Western Palace, and Gist Silversmiths. Our
horses are in superior health and shine thanks to Tiz Whiz Feeds,
the leading edge of horse nutrition. We know the difference.
No other team
in the United States performs a drill with the level of technical
difficulty that The Ohio Top Hands ride. We are proud of that,
and can hear in the voice of the audiences, that they are proud of
it, too. We owe much thanks to the teams that went before us, the
ones that blazed the trail, and the people who lead and organize
them.
Our sister
team is the California Cowgirls, in Sacramento, California.
Captained by Sara Curtis, the California Cowgirls and the Ohio Top
Hands cover the Western and Eastern halves of The United States.
The Ohio Top
Hands. Because all of America is the Western frontier.
